Eligibility Application for the Written Examination (NZDREX)
If you are confident that you meet all the eligibility criteria as listed you can submit an eligibility application form to allow the Dental
Council to determine your eligibility to enrol in the written examination.
You are required to submit the following to the DCNZ:
- an eligibility application form DE001
- all supporting documentation indicated on the application form
- the pre-assessment fee (refer to the current Schedule of Fees)
Applications for the assessment of eligibility for enrolment in the written examination are valid for the next available
examination session only. If an applicant does not sit the first available written examination, or fails to pass the examination, they
will be required to submit a new application for assessment of eligibility in order to enrol for and sit the next available written
examination session.
Eligibility application closing dates
Applicants must ensure that their eligibility application form reaches the office of the Dental Council of New Zealand by no later than the
closing dates listed on the Examinations Timetable. Late applications will not be accepted and/or
considered.
