New Zealand remains at alert level 4

The Prime Minister has announced that New Zealand will remain at COVID-19 alert level 4 until 11:59pm on Tuesday 24 August, due to the COVID-19 positive cases in the community.

The guidelines for oral health services at COVID-19 alert level 4 remains in place. Cabinet will revisit the alert levels again next Monday.

If you are unable to meet the alert level 4 requirements for a patient that requires urgent or emergency care, then refer the patient to where they can receive care.
